Social Media Assignment #1 - Simmons

I have a lot of websites that I visit on almost a daily basis. Most of them particularly I will like to start with two newspaper sites that i like to access:
 1.)  www.ajc.com

  • This website is a newspaper published for the city of Atlanta called the Atlanta Journal Constitution. I enjoy this website because of its easy accessible links and navigation to different areas of the news world. It also a cool website for the fact that you can access there website via twitter, facebook, and email.
2.)  www.annistonstar.com

  • I like the Anniston Star also for the reason that its interface is similar to the the ajc website. The navigation runs very smoothly throughout the site. I also love the green and black color scheme on the interface, attracts me to the site once I have accessed it.
Now that you all have seen my two sites I like, here is the media website I do not like:
3.) www.tmz.com

  • I do not like this particular website because it is a very plain site. I do not know if they left the site plain because of the exciting stories they have on the site. I believe creators could have made this website a bit more attractive beyond the stories. Keeping up with high end celebs should make them want to have a high end site. I DIGRESS.
Let us continue on this path of dislikes and I will tell you all another website that bothers me:
4.) www.google.com

  • I DO NOT dislike google, i dislike the google images search engine. It is too much clutter and not well thought out. Type in someone's name like Will Smith and you indeed get great pictures, but you have to pick through the fake, small, and distorted images. I believe they have enough money and resources you have a better format for ciphering pictures.

Lastly, the website that I love to go on a lot is a bias pick because its my own website I made:
5.) www.theleadmovement.webs.com

  • This website is my music website that is used for the exposure of my music and music movement I am trying to build from the ground up. L.E.A.D. Movement meaning Loyalty Everyday All Day with music based on the foundation of hip-hop and Atlanta Rap. This website is unique because it has a music player, artist bios, and also videos. You can really began to interact with the artist via twitter and facebook from this site. It is an easy accessible site and easy to navigate. I promise it will be an interesting site to visit. CHECK IT OUT..
